Rain here for a change!

There are some great pictures today. But my favoite is the bumblebee lunch because I taught my granddaughter about staying away from the pretty bumblebees. She told me she doesn't wike tumblebeets!! We laughed so hard at her. Kids say the funniest things!!!

I got an email yesterday that said "Tape a penny over a bee sting for 15 minutes, and the copper will stop the stinging, allergic reactions, etc"....I asked my cuz who sent it..if it really worked..his reply was "We'll have to try it." I told him "You first". lol

I just finished Steve Hamilton's new Alex McKnight novel "Misery Bay." A good story based in the UP. He will be touring the UP in July signing books.

Bob--thanks for that tip. I was afraid that Hamilton had given up
writing about the U.P. I liked his books based in New York State,
but really preferred the ones set UP here. I hope there are some
copies left when I get to Marquette at the end of the week.

I agree, "Him first" is a good idea. The penny on a bite is an old urban legend. If copper really did anything I would recommend something other than a penny as it's 97.5% zinc and only 2.5% copper.
