You couldn't ask for a better day UP here in Ontonagon. A Yooper friend gave us 2lbs of fresh caught walleye filets. Gonna beer batter them and deep fat fry them. They were caught yesterday. I'm in heaven. Was supposed to be in the 80s today but it didn't happen here. Temps were in the mid 70s and the sun is shining. The snowshoe hares have been running through our property. Love them little "wabbits".

Funny you should ask about kayaks today, Charlie. We had our Grandson's 9th birthday party tonight and we gave him a kayak, so he can come on excursions with Grandma and Papa now. Hopefully, we'll be out on the water this weekend, too. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, Jbuck! ;-)
