Happy Sunday! The sun is shining in Baraga!

Remember as a kid seeing the radar domes off in the distance as you are coming down US-41 near the Standard Station in Allouez. Toby Effinger owned that gas station then. WOW!! Shows my age doesn't it?!!

"Good Morning", a little damp here in Shelby Twp. Expecting a few people here, going to B.B.Q. a big fresh beef brisket. Wishing all a safe Memorial week-end, please recall the meaning of this holiday. Let's keep all the member's of the U.S. Military, Past and present in our thought's and prayer's. Most of all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The sun was shining in Ontonagon today. It was a picture-perfect day. Cooking ribs on the grill as we speak. Hope you all have a great Sunday. No frost in the forecast---YES!

My two guests and I and the two cats I could catch spent about a half hour huddled in my small bathroom as the tornado sirens were going off here in Lansing. I live in a third-floor apartment. Eaton County had a tornado warning for about 20 minutes around 5:00 p.m. There was a lot of severe weather here in mid Michigan this afternoon/evening. The forecast calls for a scorcher tomorrow, upper 80s to low 90s. It will be a like a sauna down here, I'm sure. Stay safe everyone and enjoy the long weekend as we remember our veterans. Thank you!!
