A rare three-way tie for the Early Bird

Today's Early Bird rush was like watching finely tuned synchronized swimming.

Count down - 4 more days until we are in Eagle Harbor!

Very nice review today.

Good photos. And happy Victoria Day to the Dominion of Canada, today.

By Hollidays (Hollybranches) on Monday, May 23, 2011 - 04:58 pm:

I love how the "early bird" has become like a NASCAR race. Competition keeps us alive. For some of us. :)

By Robert Goniea (Rjgoniea) on Monday, May 23, 2011 - 05:21 pm:

Hey, that 2002 pic looks vaguely familiar. :)

Will likely never get an early bird...too much of a night owl. :)

Thomas--Though I'm originally from the UP, I accept that warm
Victoria Day greeting on behalf of Canada. Usually I'm in the UP
this weekend, and if I had been, I could have eaten ramps and
morels with dinner last night at my daughter's house. The
fireworks in our neighborhood were spectacular last night, and if
the thunderstorms hold off this evening, doubtless will be again
tonight.
