April is coming to an end today and that means it's time to honor the memory of those that have gone on from this world. Today we remember:

Thankfully, I don't know any of the names on the above list.

But remembering a wonderful man from out this way who passed away suddenly this month. He was one of the most well known men in our little town and most everybody liked him. He reminded me of my dad some, with his quick wit and sarcasm. Many people are going to miss him. RIP, Jim :(

My thoughts and prayers to those who have had loved ones lost and to those whose lives have been effected dramatically by the massive and deadly tornados in the southern states of our great country.

Edith Hickok passed on April 18th at the age of 91. She was the mother of my best friends & was a very fine lady. I always remember her laughing & being very fun. She loved Michigan very much.

Once again Walter your list reminds us of the loved ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The average age of these young people is only--28.3 years of age.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann, Aunt Lyle Pooley, sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew the "Chief" Churchill, our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann, our cousin Betty Matson who left us this month and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto. We love and miss you all so much.

Donna, what a beautiful thought! Remembering my father Jerry Pranger who passed away 8 years ago today.

Remembering with much love John Grau, who went Home on April 9th. He was a World War II veteran and served as an infantryman with the 104th (Timberwolves) Division, as Sergeant. He fought in the battles of the Scheldt Estuary (Netherlands), the West Wall (Aachen), and the Roer River and was wounded while leading his platoon during the breakout from the Remagen Bridgehead. He received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his service to America.

We miss you John, and will see you again on the other side.

Remembering Mark Stewart a long time friend who loved the UP.

I just heard the sad news that Fr. Marcotte died today. He was a
wonderful priest and will be deeply missed.

All my grandparents, my parents, my uncle and my two (2) brothers. My two (2) brothers wo left wayyyy to early and I miss all of them.

Remembering our Norwegian Forest Cat "Big Bob" who passed away early April 2nd. We still miss him very much.
