Sorry, his name was Robert, or Bobby or Bobcat for short. He wasn't really that young; at least 12 but probably closer to 15 which is the typical lifespan for a Wegie (we got him as an adult from a rescue in Las Vegas in 2004). It was funny because we already had 2 cats and didn't really want a third cat, but something about Bobby caught Nat's eye and while I was reluctant to get him, he was the best thing that has ever happened in our lives. It is amazing what life lessions we have learned from a 20 lb cat, especially now that he's gone. This has left a huge hole in our hearts that will never be filled again, but this will definitely be a life-changing event in our lives as well.
Again, thank you to everyone for your condolences and letting us ramble on; I don't believe mere words can express our gratitude to everyone on here.....
