When the sun is shining and warming up the temps a little, snow starts melting and making icy overhangs, like these photos from Brenda Leigh. When ice is freezing and thawing and then freezing again, it takes on some interesting forms. The top two shots fit perfect for today, since it's Valentine's Day and the ice has formed a fancy looking heart, cut right out of the middle of that icicle. In the second photo there's another heart, one Brenda described as somewhat broken. I haven't yet decided what the ice in her last photo reminds me of, so how about you viewers chime in with your interpretations?
Happy Valentine's Day
