This week is filled with many activities, fun and games, as the Heikinpäivä winter festival gets under full swing, culminating over the weekend. There are plenty of opportunities for fun with a number of events taking place on Saturday, including a parade, followed by a boot throwing contest, wife carrying contest and the Polar Bear Dive, just to name a few. So bundle up and head to Hancock this weekend to join in the fun of celebrating "Talven selkä poikki (winter's back is broken)."

This will be the first time we get to see the polar bear plunge and parade.;O)

That girl is probably cutting her 'wisdom teeth'...happens when you realize that you may have bitten off more than you can chew!
