The 2004 picture of the Cliffs is one of my all-time favorites. The lighting, the detail, the road....... great shot David!

Good Friday Morning (at least for me it is.... ;-)
Anyway just a reminder; the night/morning of December 20th to 21st will be a full lunar eclipse. This is the last lunar eclipse that will be visible from anywhere in the US until mid 2014. If it is clear UP in Pastyland, I recommend going outside to see it. I have attached a website that gives specific times of the partial and total eclipse. I plan to be out getting photos if the skies clear around here.
Another fine bunch of photos but the toolbox critter catches my fancy this morning.

2003 is precious - kind of makes me feel bad that we set all those mouse traps in the cottage before we closed it up for the winter....but what can you do?
By jbuck (Jbuck) on Thursday, December 16, 2010 - 02:55 pm:
All you have to know to not feel bad is to keep this in mind:
Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS)
Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) is a deadly disease from rodents. Humans can contract the disease when they come into contact with infected rodents or their urine and droppings. HPS was first recognized in 1993 and has since been identified throughout the United States. Although rare, HPS is potentially deadly. Rodent control in and around the home remains the primary strategy for preventing hantavirus infection.

I especially like the cross stitch + the backwoods Winter scenes.

I think the rodents in the southwestern US, anyway, have also been known to carry the bubonic plaque virus, if I remember correctly.
