Love the chickadee eating out of the hand. That's a great shot! Had to be hard to capture.

Good morning everybody! Happy Saturday. Our annual holiday home tour is today. Can't wait to see what some of these people come up with.

Looks like the deer harvest this year is way down. There have been big bucks taken but the hunting season is very strange this year. Wondering if we have too many wolves up here. I think the DNRE needs to take them off the endangered list. Also reports of cougars up here, not good.

Walked the beach at Four Mile Rock yesterday and saw moose tracks along with coyote/wolf tracks. People worry about black bears, that's the least critter you should worry about up here.

Getting a lake effect snow right now, it won't amount to much. Or will it? :)

Great pictures. Thanks.

Hollidays:

Maybe the UP deer are going south for the winter.

St Ignace News

This button buck was hit and killed by a semi in the northbound lanes in the center of the Mackinac Bridge.

Of course he was in the northbound lane so maybe he was going the other way.
