Good Morning From Wells

It looks like the 2007 year photo, here in Evergreen, CO except our roads aren't bare, but icy. It's 15 degrees so I guess winter is on it's way. The sun is due out this morning so I am hoping the ice will melt. I'm thinking the U.P. will be snow covered before long!

Wow! Evergreen is ever cold this morning!

I haven't yet adjusted to "Winter in Phoenix (AZ)" this year. High temps in the 90s & morning lows in the 70s just two weeks ago to highs barely into the 70s and morning lows in the mid to low 40s the last few days! "Shivver!"

I just shut down the A/C a few days ago, now last night I had to resist turning the furnace on!

What's this desert coming to! <weak grin>

Charlie & Mary, thank you for posting the pictures & information about the Edmund Fitzgerald & my father on here. You help to keep the memory of the ship & my father alive & I thank you for that. Also thank you to all who sent me well wishes, your thoughts & prayers. It means alot to me to know that you take the time to show you care. It's great having this website to meet such wonderful people. Isn't it wonderful that we can communicate with each other & form friendships through this site like we do?? God bless all of you.

Cheryl...not knowing much about you, I was wondering why all of the condolences yesterday. Now I discovered that your father, Ransom Cundy, was aboard the Fitzgerald when it went down. I learned this from an internet search that led me to this article:

At 5:30 this morning the temperature in my back yard was 38°F; and the morning low typically doesn't occur 'til 20-30 minutes after sunrise, or about 7:30-7:40AM (MST)! The house cooled to around 69°F overnight, and the outdoor temperature was still only 68°F at 10:30AM.

Hey, at least I wont be shoveling snow next week! (Or at least I don't think so!)
