During which years was the Keweenaw Rocket Range used?

From 1964 to 1971

since it's so quiet on here this morning and late.. i'll also answer the question and you can give me the bird...lol

Trivia question:
Q: If the Keweenaw Rocket Range was "used from 1964 to 1971", and "Michigan's first rocket into space" wasn't launched from there until January 21, 1971, what was going on there for the first six or more years?

The fishing boat in the 2008 photo must have been successful, judging by the number of sea gulls flying around it. It always amazes me that there are not more sea gulls on Lake Superior. Usually you just see a few a time in the air. They do sometimes sit in groups on the tiny rock islands off shore but they have never bothered me when we eat outside or picnic, like they do near the ocean.
