Great pictures today/ I especially liked the photos of the huge pink boulders, Canyon Falls, and the Porky. I flew in a Blue Goose (ie North Central) plane like that one many a moon ago.

Marianne. Everyone calls it Goose however it actually was to supposed to depict a Mallard duck flying past a full Moon. Not many will recall but at one time there was a bus line named the Blue Goose serving the area here. Probably mid 40s or so.

That's interesting, RCW. They always called it the Blue Goose here in mid-Michigan, back then. But I never had figured out what the logo was really supposed to represent. Thank you.

10 DAYS! to deer camp! Marty, get the shopping list ready! Go to the bank, we're going to Baraga. Gas up the truck, get the floatation system checked. Mike's coming too so get our boots and bullet proof vest from the station so we're prepared for his mishaps. Mike, get the card for the TV satelite da Lions and da Packers are gonna be playing. Hope the sauna stove fire's U.P., we have plenty of firewood for the cabin, (shouldn't need as much now that GN won't be there other than in spirit RIP dad) I think the Gay Bar, the Bear Belly, Jim's and the Hut will be glad to see our economic tribute. Maybe we'll take a current pic at High Rock Bay as well, so Marty bring the digital camera. If the Huskies are skating we might check out a game, Mike will want an Ambassador's Pizza as well. I'm also bringing a 100 piece first aid kit from my company. Are you sure it's not November 12th yet? lol

Oh yeah, the Coffee will be on, if you're Keweenaw bound, stop on in and "will open a keg of nails!" (quote from GN stating, let's chew the fat)

Voted in the elections today. It was like trying to pick my favorite mosquito out of a swarm.
