Question: Why did the turkey cross the U.P. road? Answer: It was the chicken's day off! Tomorrow is also the chicken's day off, so this trio of turkeys better be careful and get out of town quickly! Kind of ironic, too, that this photo was captured by Tom Cook, don't you think? All kidding aside, this is a great shot in which you can just make out the colors of the turkey's heads and their back feathers, too. Looks like they're under an apple tree, probably looking for some leftover droppings of fruit to munch on. Hopefully they'll escape without being someone's Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and live to see a few more days before they're once again sought out for the next holiday dinner.
One more turkey chuckle...What do you get when you cross a turkey with an octopus? Lots of drumsticks for Thanksgiving dinner....hope you have as many drumsticks as you desire tomorrow. ;->

When 3 turkeys meet, that's a lot of meat. I bet they are stuffed.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve. There was this person who sent ten puns to his friends hoping they would make them laugh. No pun in ten did. Sorry Alex, couldn't resist!!!

Cool turkeys. BTW, the bridge cam date is a little old. (?)

Good photo. An editorial cartoon I find amusing is the turkey with 2 axes above it with 2 different Thanksgiving dates. It was during 1939-1941 when President Roosevelt wanted to move Thanksgiving up a week.

Yeah, Greta, I was wondering about that date on BridgeCam, too. 1/1/2000? Hmmm.....
I think we should move Thanksgiving to the same as Canada's. We have too many holidays too close together.
