I'd like you all to meet Gracie. She might look familiar if you're a visitor over at www.johndee.com, since she's John and Nora Dee's little girl. Nora recently sent me these photos of Gracie who is quite determined to get her boots on by herself, one way or another. Gracie wanted to go outside and Mommy told her that she couldn't because she didn't have her boots on. Next thing they knew, Gracie was sitting on the floor, had taken off her shoes and with Yooper determination, was working at stuffing that foot of hers into her pretty pink boots. Talk about adorable...and flexible, too. I don't think I'd ever walk again, if I tried to bend myself like she is. ;->

Nora also sent along a photo of her a couple days ago, decked out in her Keweenaw winter ensemble and looking especially adorable. No wonder she wanted those boots on, she loves being out in the snow here UP North.

Hmm-thanks for the memory photos! Every mom living in the Keweenaw Peninsula recalls their “young yooper’s” determination to get out and play in the new fluffy snow.

Awww.....little Gracie! I can hardly wait for John's journal update every Sunday to see the latest pix of that precious little girl. The Dees are certainly one God-blessed family! Thanks Nora, for sharing on Pasty too.;)

Oh, my gosh, is that ever precious! Little kids are so determined: There's a problem? OK, we'll fix it!

Attended my 3-yr-old granddaughter's Thanksgiving program yesterday! What a hoot! And the one who came out picking her nose was NOT ours! Oh, the things to be thankful for!

I eagerly look forward to John Dee's journal and photos too! I've been visiting his site regularly for years now. Gracie is totally adorable!!! How blessed the Dee family truly is!
