This is such a beautiful scene, it makes it easier to accept that the snow has started here in the Keweenaw. I don't really mind the snow, I just don't like it to start too early and stick around for 6 months at a time. Not sure if it's here to stay or not, but we know that day isn't too far off anyway. Thanks to Tim Minich for snapping this beauty to share. I'm guessing all the deer hunters are pleased there's snow for tracking. Remember if you're out driving around, to slow down and adjust your skills to winter driving now.

I remember one recent Thanksgiving where we did have to clear the driveway to enable our guests to park.

THAT's what it looked like on the cruise north yesterday....I did keep saying "Wow..is this beautiful"....(w/an iron grip on the steering wheel)....

Simply breathtaking! We saw a lot of that on our way home from the UP on Sunday! But the roads were good anyway. It doesn't look like that out here yet.
