You can't help but smile at these two colorfully dressed youngsters. That's Luigi and Mario, from the Mario Brothers video game fame, but really they're Krista Chamberlain's boys, who recently enjoyed a night at the Houghton County Historical Museum campus in Lake Linden, riding the Ghost Train and checking out all the spooky decorations and displays. It sure looks like the place was lit up and bustling with excitement for kids of all ages. I didn't get a chance to go down there myself, but word around town was that there was laughter, shrieks and screams heard coming from the train. Lots of fun for the youngsters, getting scared when they know there's no real danger, especially with Mom and Dad right there alongside them.

Reminder: There's still time to stock up on treats for the goblins and princesses that will be knocking on your door tomorrow evening. Hope you get more treats than tricks tomorrow!

That is great, we have too much election ads and bad news right now on TV. You see this and you think all is really well in the world. Kids are just wonderful.

I can look out my window & see the Museum & hear the train.I walk over there often.sorry i missed Luigi & Mario that night..glad to see them pictured here.
