With the colors here in the Copper Country starting to fade fast, you have to do whatever it takes to enjoy what's left of them. Judy Byykkonen came up with the perfect way to do that...once at eye level and then again in the reflections of our beautiful rivers and ponds. Sometimes the colors even look a bit more vivid when mirrored in the water like Judy's first shot. The blue sky, looks bluer still on the surface of the water and the red colored leaves really pop out, too. Thanks for showing us how to enjoy the remainder of the fall foliage, twofold.

Greetings:
Is the pool in the "Mirrored Colors" photo a former sandstone pit? Some of those pits are deep and dangerous.
The pond is not a former sandstone pit.It is a manmade pond from old farming days.

Judy, was just cruising thru you albums and enjoying all of them. Your dogs are priceless and your place is wonderful. Is it a 'camp' or year round. How lucky for you!

Beautiful photography. There's probably scenes almost like these in the Dominion of Canada as they celebrate their Thanksgiving, today. I don't mind when U.S. Thanksgiving occurs, but Canada's is much prettier because the leaves there are in their beautiful Autumn colours, whereas the leaves here are all off the trees when U.S. Thanksgiving arrives.

Judy these photos are so beautiful and serene. Reflections of my favorite season. It is too bad it passes so swiftly. We are blessed to live in beauty that surrounds us daily.

How nice of you to post the history of Canadian Thanksgiving. I'm one of those lucky people who has a chance to celebrate both Thanksgivings.
