Good morning! Where's the picture?

Tie... and the picture came after 10pm today. Better late than never :o)

I think Pasty had some issues last night with the winds, or something. I know that both John Dee's and Sharon's web sites were down for a while last night. I was trying to show John Dee's photos of Lake Superior in the weekend storm, but his website was down...

We had high winds here in mid-Michigan yesterday and last night, with gusts near 50 mph. The greater Detroit had huge issues with the high winds' downing power lines and causing many, many house fires. The Detroit Fire Department said it was worse than Devils' Night was a few years ago there. The fires, fanned by the near 50-mph winds, spred from home to home. Many were left homeless, with nowhere to spend the night and only the clothes on their backs. They said on the news this morning that 100,000 people in greater Detroit are still without power this morning. I hope they have those issues taken care of soon! My oldest son, who lives in Dearborn, apparently was not affected, fortunately.
