Good Morning from the Soo. I think I will travel to Paradise today for Blueberry festival. Very heavy storms last night rolling by. And then the most wonderful clean ion packed air scent. Love that about living in God's country.

The maples are turning and the birds are starting to migrate. Summer is coming to an end UP here.

I like the sunflower, blue ice, moose and calf, + old license plate collection. A few leaves are starting 2 turn color in Northern lower Michigan, also.

I still think Mr. Koski has a secret underground spot, with one of those fern and tree limb covered openings..and when a critter or a bird are right there, IN THE PERFECT POSE HE ALWAYS GETS, POP!!!!...he opens it and gets the stellar shot again!

The photos today are stunning. Great close-up of the porcupine!

I would like the blue ice too, because it reminds me that I'd better enjoy these last, dog days of summer. Soon it will be so cold!!

But my favorite is the moose picture. Very cool!! Oh yeah, like the porcupine also.

JH(Thumbgardener) Thanks for the great links. Weren't those the good old days. Reminded me of my 1969 Pontiac GTO, 400 ci, ahhh, pulling up to a stop light, waiting for the orange light, revving up that motor, light turns green, laying "J"s on the street and power shifting. Watching my "oponent" in the rear view window was the highlight. Had the Cragar mags, the Sun Tach and the wind in my hair.

Those days are gone but I still "have the need for speed."

Had a 1970 MachI, 351 Cleveland Block, 785 dual feed 4 barrel Holly carb, would do 13.6 in the 1/4 mile. Now all I want is a F150 Supercrew FX Off Road 4x4 so I can tow Marty out of the Keystone Bay Beaver Pond, and where I can recline the seat on top of Brockway and take a nap while lake Medora is on my left, and freighters to my right, in the sunshine! Is that too much to ask? lol

ah, the good old days. U.C. knew that set up well. I had a 70 GT Torino 429 4 speed Hurst shifter with positrac. Like you I now have a F150 supercrew for the family.
