How did the groom die in the "Wedding/Funeral" featured in today's decade review?

And here I thought it was just a rhetorical question.

Would have been a three way but my computer froze for a few seconds. Time for a new one. Been bugging Precious for a laptop to no avail.

How sad was that? Poor woman!!

Good morning from the Copper Country. Really enjoying what the area has to offer, especially the big lake. It is so warm this year.

Have a great day everybody!

The "heat wave" UP here is finally over. "Suffered" for three days with temps in the 80s and high humidity. Hehehe, that's a cold snap right now for the rest of the country. Temp is now in the low 70s with a strong northwest wind coming off the lake. It's down right chilly.
Hope Hoosier Girl is enjoying her trip UP here. Know she is, she's breathing the cleanest air on this earth.

It sounds like it might be a good idea to be on the side of the bridge now that you want to be for the evening, since they will be working on the bridge, starting at 6 pm! If it gets stuck in the wrong position...

I was relieved to hear that the Coast Guard transported patients from the Houghton side to awaiting ambulances the Hancock side yesterday, during the problem. That was my first question. There are a couple of stories in today's Mining Gazette, online.

Houghton needs a new bridge. What's taking so long???

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Thursday, August 5, 2010 - 08:25 pm:

Does money for the construction of a new bridge come to mind?? J

By Brooke (Lovethekeweenaw) on Thursday, August 5, 2010 - 09:50 pm:

I had to ditch my trip to Houghton this evening since the bridge was getting tested. Would have been nice if I knew that before I hit Ripley! Of course thats when I hear it on the radio. Hopefully too many people were not messed up but my next door neighbors work at Tech and are still not home.

We had a great time today. We took the glass bottomed boat shio wreck tour. Absolutely incredible. Amazing that they are so well preserved after being there for over one hundred years.
