Meet James Fornetti, Floyd Duchaine and Peter Aimone, the staff of Aimone & Fornetti Barber Shop in Iron Mountain. It was back in the day when the Chicago & Northwestern Depot across the street provided plenty of prospects for this trimming trio - back when the Chapin Mine was still producing - back when Iron Mountain's own Robert J. Flaherty produced Nanook of the North. It was certainly a booming town back then. Our thanks to the U.P. Digitization Center for their ongoing efforts in discovering and preserving scenes like these from the past in God's Country.
Technical challenges delayed our Sunday update, but better late than never. Thanks for stopping by. Have a good week :o)

Glad to see the record is still perfect :)

Floyd kinda looks like the young version of Floyd the Barber from Mayberry. Perhaps disgruntled for being left out of the shop's name, he started his own?
