Today's trio of photos, come to us from Mona Grigg, Mike LaMotte and Keith Meyers, respectively. They tell the story of a number of inland lakes and ponds around the Copper Country, where you'll find water lily pads and innumerable inhabitants that croak and ribbet. Can you spot the well camouflaged frog in Mona's shot on top? There's no missing those big eyes in Mike's middle photo and then Keith pans out for a view of lily pads as far as the eye can see. You all know that frogs have it made, right? Because they get to eat what bugs them!

brings back memories of the many lily pads in Chassell Bay ... they are really cool. Quite a few in the Pike River as well. we used to paddle our big inner tubes through them

I love lily pads also. When we take the boat out on the lake out here, we have to go through so many of them to get to where we want to go. The flowers are now popping up on them. So cool looking!!!
