I think my fave is Menagerie Island Lighthouse, photographed by Neil Harri.

Good morning everyone. 55 degrees, cloudy, looks like rain again here in Houghton. Was going to mow grass today but ground is still wet from last nights rain. Have a great day!

I've always enjoyed the 2207 photo, it's like a painting.

Woh Nelly, someone back up the time machine and send me back to 2007.

Speaking of lupines and E. Neal Harri....enroute to Baraga from Bootjack, (and a Harbor run the other day)...there are some gorgeous areas of lupines all over the place, and I was thinking on my car ride today..."I wonder if Mr. Harri could tell us where the biggest patch is"???

Imagine that Spring tour from the air, when the wildflowers and the blossoming trees are out and so simply stunning!

By David (Dave) on Sunday, June 13, 2010 - 09:13 pm:

I know of a large area of lupine in Mohawk. There is a drain field near the old railroad grade / snowmobile trail off of 2nd Street. You can probably see it from the Seneca Road as well. It was a sea of all colors of lupines.
