2010 has had an unusually snowless March compared to previous years, though temps are in the teens this morning. Which year in today's review is the only one without snow and ice?

We are so fortunate to have Neil's Eye in the Sky for some very unique photos. Thanks Neil and thanks Pasty!

And technically, we're not even positive the 2007 photo doesn't have snow in it somewhere; it's the only photo where snow isn't as obvious as the other years.....

Something I thought of looking at the cutter photo. The Cutter Sundew docked here in Duluth was bought by a local businessman. It was not doing well as a musuem piece. Well anyways, her engine will be fired up sometime in May I believe and she will be put into service once again. What she will actually be doing is not definite as of yet. Some talk of helping out as a educational vessel, assisting in the harbor here, etc. basically who knows pretty quiet about it right now. As soon as some more info becomes available I will post it here in the event any one is interested. Many of us, have had the opportunity to watch her in action. I know many of us miss seeing the old girl out and about, I know me and my children do. Alders nice but she just isn't the same. Take care everyone!!

A new thread opened up on the Politics and Religion page. It's about health care. Take a look..........

For those who asked or who were wondering, Helen Chamberlain returned home Friday after hip replacement surgery. She is doing fine so far but will require therapy for some time. Glad to hear everything went well and our thoughts and prayers are with her. Tough thing to go through, don't think I could do it!

I'm glad to hear from friends & relatives that we won't be coming back to snow. You had an easy year I guess. Don't you wish they were all like that?? :)

Wonderful photos. Since most of these have snow in them, I thought I'd mention a slight setback in Spring weather in Northern Lower Michigan. There were some snowflakes in the air this afternoon at my workplace.

Best wishes, Helen! My friend's husband just went through that on Thursday. I don't envy anybody who goes through that.
