Which year of today's review is most relevant to Tommyknockers?

2008 - Good Morning everyone!

In the "Tommyknockers" peom, there's a passage that reads:

"They followed me to the abandoned mine,
I can see them now, spirits without a shine,
It’s too dark to see, too dark to walk,
I gaze at my entrance, it's been blocked"

It's a little early for obscure poetry, don'tcha think?

Fatdad...have you heard of a song called Timothy?

Trapped in a mine that had caved in
And everyone knows the only ones left
Was Joe and me and Tim
When they broke through to pull us free
The only ones left to tell the tale

Hungry as •••• no food to eat

I must have blacked out just around then

Dating myself here but, I have Timothy on vinyl.

Out here in Colorado, in Idaho Springs, there is a Micro Brewery called Tommyknockers. Because all the mines are closed here, with no more miners to haunt, I guess they put the tommyknockers to work, brewing beer!
