This website is a real gem! The information and pictures are incredible always. Here is a question to anybody or Charlie! What has happened to the buildings from the McCormick camp that were on the island at White Deer Lake?
I have searched your archives and found no answer? Nice pictures from the air however.
Somebody must know? Are they still stored in a warehouse somewhere? I hope they are. There was one website that said the buildings were burned?
That camp history is just wonderful. Real history in the U.P. Also the Huron Mt. Club blog from the past is wonderful and full of tidbits.
Keep it up for another decade! This is the best site in the Midwest.
