Chris Gariepy takes us along on a recent snowmobile ride that he took with a couple friends. I'm not a snowmobiler myself, but I know a few folks that are and a pole line like the one shown in Chris' pictures, is something they all seem to enjoy running. I DO know from 4-wheeling, that the pole lines are fraught with obstacles and steep banks to maneuver at times. I'm guessing that's what many snowmobilers enjoy... the challenge it can present and the accomplishment of successfully making the run. Ride on!

There are a lot of snowmobilers here now taking advantage of what our beautiful Keweenaw has to offer in this regard! Great for the economy!

I haven't been on a snowmobile in ages. Wouldn't mind trying them out again.

A lot of the miles on our snowmobile odometers are from the wonderful Keweenaw area! A great time and area for some super-duper snowmobiling!
