Happy Birthday to me!! I have Cold visiting me on this day. But his companion Fever left yesterday. Flu couldn't make the trip.

Today at 2:15 P.M., I am scheduled for my left eye cataract surgery. The right eye procedure went well and that eye is almost 20/20 now!!

Good evening (yes, evening) from Frankfurt, Germany!! Dr. Nat and I are here to visit family for Christmas and explore the Eifel Region of west Germany which is a volcanically active area. I'm sure this won't be the last message from the road, but they will be few and far between for the next couple weeks....

I bought myself some fresh flowers in Christmas colors and went shopping for stocking stuffers for my great neice Paris. Had lunch with a great friend, and all in all it was a wonderful day sans the tissues on hand.
