How many hands are holding pasties in the "Cornish Pasty Boys" photo?

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 07:10 am:

Speaking of pasties; the Dr. and I just ordered some pasties as well as a few 2010 calenders for our house and offices. You can guess what we'll be having for dinner Wednesday evening... ;-)

Good morning! I can not believe the weather we're still having here. I'm really hoping it holds up because next week we have to take another trip to the CC to bring my mom to the Marquette hospital for a pacemaker. Pray the weather holds, please.

I love the 2005 picture. That's amazing!

By Brooke (Lovethekeweenaw) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 08:28 am:

Deb, I hope you and Mr Deb have a safe trip and that it all goes well for your Mom.

Just got back from a week in the C.C., great time great weather, no deer, did see 4 doe's but that was it. When you don't have tine to scout or bate them before hand it makes for a difficult hunt.

Mary, sorry I missed you, we really were not in town very often.

Hi Deb,

I really just read the posts and I do hope everything goes well for your mom and the weather holds up for the trip.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 01:30 pm:

Deb, sending best wishes to your mom for her surgery! As the old saying goes, if you don't like the weather in Michigan now, then just wait 10 minutes (or vice versa). I hope you all have a safe journey!

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 04:44 pm:

Wonderful photos. I like that Eagle Harbor sundial.

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 05:45 pm:

Deb, Mr. Deb, and Deb's Mom,

I'll be thinking of the three of you next week, and I'll be saying a
prayer for you.

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 06:58 pm:

Safe journey to the Debs. I'll be thinking of all of you.

By Charlotte, Mishawaka, IN (Charlotte61) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 07:53 pm:

Deb, I'll be keeping you, your mom and Mr. Deb in my thoughts and prayers next week.

By Cheryl Rozman (Cotton) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 08:07 pm:

Deb, I'll be thinking of all of you when you come up for your Mom's surgery. We have excellent heart surgeons at MGH so she'll be in good hands. Our weather has been unusually nice so let's pray that it stays that way until your traveling is over. In the meantime try to have a Happy Thanksgiving with your family.

By Uncle Chuck at Little Betsy (Unclechuck) on Monday, November 23, 2009 - 11:10 pm:

Deb, Ron, & Deb's mom, wishing you safe travels and all the success at MGH! Cheryl is correct MGH IS TOP NOTCH! I know that for a fact! Your mom's Medtronic Pace Maker will do the job! My family and the LB Crew we'll be saying our prayers!

Morning

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 - 08:19 am:

Today November twenty fourth is the birthday of the smartest man in the world. When I was told there was going to be an addition to the family I thought they were talking about adding a dog. To my surprise they came home with a baby. Over the years we have been close and he has been a better companion then any dog would have been. I am talking of my brother Dr. John Patrick DuLong. Couldn't ask for a better friend and brother. Until my own kids were born he was the person I was proudest of in my life. Then he got moved to behind the kids, and grandkids. Normal I think.
