Good Morning from sunny Socorro, New Mexico!! 45 degrees with a wind chill of 37; almost sounds like UP weather. Dr. Nat and I have been at the New Mexico Mineral Symposium and having an absolute blast. Unfortunately, we have to return to Houston tomorrow and its humidity (here, it's been 10-20%).

Great pictures as always. Time to head out and get me a chorizo and egg burrito smothered in green chiles..... YUM!!! ;-)

Good Morning from Evergreen, Colorado - 14 inches of fresh snow on the ground...... makes the U.P. sound pretty balmy, eh?

My grandson Tim Ozanich turns seven today. He also was on tv Friday for his efforts to go green. He was interviewed by Fox channel two here in Detroit. NBC called and wants to interview him also. He is a dedicated recycler. Precious and the whole family are proud of him.

Our daughter lives in Taos, NM, she said they have snow on the ground this morning. We have a high of 79 predicted here in FL.

Speaking of deer...as I was driving home last night at 1:10 a.m. from a great night of salsa dancing, I saw a buck in west Lansing. It was crossing a usually business Saginaw Hwy from the Waverly Golf course to a residential area. Oh, my, when they are in the rut they are very confused, aren't they. There really is no wooded area near there big enough to support deer. Poor thing.

Good morning! Very cool mirror shots! I love them. If you go through Iron River, WI., you get basically the same thing every time. That river always has a mirrored look to it. It's gorgeous!

Hope all have a nice day! My hubby's on his way to the UP to take my mom to a dr. appt. and do whatever else she needs to have done. She really looks forward to his visits, and he does too. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. He's as good to my mom as any son-in-law could ever be. Thank you, dear!!!
