Congratulations, Judy, Thumbgardener on your Early Bird this morning!

There are a couple of awesome autumn pictures in there. I have always wanted to see the covered road on US 41, near Copper Harbor in full fall colors, and the bend in the road is a great added touch. And, the "steamy reflection", with the water as smooth as glass is awesome, too.

Good morning! I love the leaves in 2005!! That was always my favorite project in grade school. It was so much fun collecting the pretty leaves!

Have a great day!

Got home Sunday night from our annual color tour. Not much color yet to see. Michigamme area is coming along, but other areas have a way to go. Rained all the time, so photo ops were at a minimum. On the good side, it was fun watching the waves crash on our shore on the eastern side of Keweenaw Bay. I hope to upload a few pictures tonight. Enjoyed dinner at the Harbor Haus, even though they were out of my favorite beef rouladen. All in all, it was a good, long weekend.

There's just something about autumn photos that takes one's breath hey? Guess that preps us for the starkness of winter, altho a winter view can be so beautiful if you really "see"!

Logan's benefit is over & was a huge success. We had alot of wonderful people come & support him. Say what you may about small towns but people always turn out to help anyone who is in need like this & it's great to be from one town.. I saw some people who I havn't seen for years& that was great. I want to wish a huge THANK YOU to all of you who donated & supported us through prayers, kind thoughts, cards, money, food, bakery & the people who helped in any way with the benefit..I hope I didn't leave anyone out. We'll never forget your generosity.

As usual, wonderful. And I especially like the Autumn pictures.

That pic of the newlyweds sure is " poetic " in that showing them walking into " the future" with its shadows, dark days , happy days-sunny & somewhat like the events of married life that they will be walking hand in hand into.Did anyone else see this in the pic?

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 - 12:05 am:

Yes, Djbelo, I can see that in the picture of the newlyweds. Nice message. Night all, er, good morning, er...I'm going to bed now.
