I'm not sure where in the Keweenaw these cows were lounging around in their pasture, but one thing for sure, they have some beautiful scenery surrounding them. Vanessa Gronewald snapped this herd and it seems like they didn't even blink an eye. Maybe they were too mesmerized by the autumn colors all around them, to even notice she was there. I really like the contrast of the black and white cows, with the variegated leaf colors behind them. Nice job, Vanessa!

Our colors here around Lake Linden are mostly past peak now and quickly hitting the ground.....it was good while it lasted though!

Looks like my farm on Farmville, lol!! Cows are very trusting, aren't they? If they only knew what was coming.

Would those cows happen to belong to Rodney & Laura LaRue on the Traprock Valley Road on the corner of the Gay/Lake Linden Road? That would be my guess. Any other guesses?

Oopps! Not sure if I spelled their last name right. It doesn't look right now that I see it on the screen. Maybe LaRoux?

Are these the same people who have the long-haired cows? I do not remember if they were cows, I just remember them having long hair,if you will.? I took pictures of them, but it was not with a digital camera and the pictures did not come out to good. ;O( I just remembered they looked funny, a cute kind of funny.

I'm saving Vanessa's top photo for my computer background. I've always loved farm scenes with cows, and the trees in the background are a beautiful addition. Thanks, Vanessa!

Question: Are those a couple of boats in the lower pic amongst the trees? My interest is piqued. (Hi, Mr. Wheatman.) :o)

Oh, pytavay, I hit 70 today! As was mentioned by someone, IF I knew I was going to last this long, I would have taken better care of myself. Oh well.
