On a recent road trip, Brenda Leigh found herself driving on M-94 near Munising, where she said she encountered the most beautifully, vibrant colors she's seen this fall. When she snapped her first shot, she also captured the sign advertising the National Forest Bicycle Trail up ahead. Now wouldn't that be a great way to view the colors in the woods, taking a leisurely ride along the trails on your bike?

But I digress... back to the color talk. That second shot Brenda snapped is something to behold, with bold autumn colors bursting out on both sides of the road. Just beautiful! Her third shot just takes us in a little closer to the many hues she found all in one place. What incredible beauty you can find in Mother Nature's handiwork.

How Beautiful! Someday I want to be in the UP when the colors look just like this. Those colors are just superior. Here in Northern Indiana we are pretty now but not so much color. I love the reds. Have a good day everyone.

It is a pretty nice day here in the neirborhood today. Have some windows open for awhile and looking at the colors around here. They are not really that brilliant this year, but beautiful none the less. Saw a bunch of deer and critters hanging out under an apple tree by us. To bad I did not have my camera with me.

So beautiful! Brings tears to my eyes...mostly because I'd love to be up there!

Looking at the fall color pictures, I got one of my photo albums out and took a look at all the fall pictures I took from up there. The rides my mom and I took while I was taking pictures. My favorite pictures are the tunnel of trees going to Copper Harbor. The beautiful colors were fantastic, so were the rides with my mom. I miss her.

so we can also enjoy the colors changing in that view as well.

The colours are out here as well. Here, being the Pacific NW in Oregon and Washington. The Dr. and I drove along the Pacific Coast highway today and not only was it a beautiful trip seeing the ocean, the colours were amazing. Tomorrow will be an important and exciting day for us. For the first time, we will get to see in person Mt. St Helens and hike all around it. It will be very interesting to see what is still left from the devestating eruption May 18, 1980.

Definitely homesick for the U.P. now!! The colors are extraordinary!
