On a recent drive to the Western portion of the U.P., Barb Bouwkamp made a stop at Bond Falls. I've never been there and I know it's touted as one of those "best kept secrets." But with the photos we've had here on the Pasty Cam of this waterfall in all four seasons, I can spot it and name it right away. Of course directions to its location is another thing, so that's why it's nice to have a link to find out more information: Bond Falls. Barb was able to get a couple shots from different angles. I especially like the one snapped from the side of the falls, since it gives you a better idea of the height of that drop the water makes over the rocks. Impressive to say the least.

It's funny how often I see a picture on here and think it might be mine! I love how accessible Bond Falls is now. As I remember, a wheelchair could easily make it down the wooden walkway.

I have never been there, but now, I know what I have been missing. Beautiful, just beautiful. It reminds me of falls that are in the Presque Isle Unit of the Porcupine Mountain State Park. Wish I were there.
