While looking for fall color photos, I came across this one of the Adventure Copper Mine in Greenland, snapped by Z-Man. The leaves surrounding the building there are as colorful as the shop itself. Bill Haller also had a shot from the Adventure Mine. His was taken, looking out the back adit of the mine, with a colorful view of the surrounding area.
If you're thinking of visiting this U.P. Attraction, your time is limited for this season. Their website lists the Fall hours of operation as: Open 6 days week, closed on Wednesdays, until the middle of October. For more information, you can call: 906-883-3371 or email your questions to: mportfleet@yahoo.com. If you can't make it this season, put it on your "to do" list for next year for sure!

I think the color was a lot better last year when I was UP here for Columbus Day weekend. Those pictures are great!
I can see the sun coming up over the St. Joseph's Church steeple from my mom's house. It's making it all bright and shiny. Maybe I'll try to get a picture. It's really lovely!!!

Good pics. Like the Autumn pic, as usual.

Sure hate to see the beautiful color covered up with snow as it is here just outside of Ontonagon!

SNOW??!! Nooooo....I'm not ready. I do, however, remember trick or treating in knee-deep snow as a kid in Mass City. My knees were somewhat closer to ground back then. It's a foggy, foggy morning here in Lansing. Gives me a chill to look out. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

As is typical in a UP day - the sun is now brightly shining just outside of Ontonagon with snow melting off of our dish.
