All over the U.P., apple trees are putting out some good tasting fruit, but here in the Keweenaw, we grow them in interesting shapes, as Dennis Kemper shows us today. He was recently walking in the woods and came across this apple, shaped like a chick. Look closely though, not only is the shape just right, but the markings on it are perfectly placed by Mother Nature, to look like eyes and a beak. You have to admit, when it comes to nature, it's hard to compete with the beauty it produces without even trying. Great find Dennis, thanks for sharing it with us!
