In today's decade review, name two types of stools and the years they appear.

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:39 am:

Good Friday Morning!!

2001- Construction Worker Stool
2002- Toad Stool

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:39 am:

I see a chair in 2001, and toad stools in 2002.

Good morning! TGIF!!!!

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:42 am:

Correction:

2001- Toad Stool
2005- Bar Stool

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:44 am:

How 'bout:

2002- Toad Stool
2005- Bar Stool

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:45 am:

Well, Capt. Paul. In my opinion, the chair that the construction worker sits on can be a stool also. There were 3, but we were only told to name 2.

When are you and Dr. Nat going back UP????

And the Toad Stool was in 2002 and the Bar Stool in 2005.

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:46 am:

OK Capt Paul, how'd you do that?

Was sure your post had 2001 for the toad stool...

Have a great Friday everyone!

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:51 am:

I believe your seeing things, jbuck ;-)

We might be in the UP again next year. Nat and I are planning on heading to the Canadian Maritimes for a couples and may try to the the "scenic" route back to Texas through Michigan; we'll see what happens....

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 07:53 am:

His Toad stool DID have 2001 for the year. AND I never saw his construction worker's stool before either. Are we losing it jbuck? Or does Capt Paul have a secret as to how to change things up, lol!! When I first posted, I know my post was ahead of the dear Capt.'s. Having met him personally though, I wonder what he's up to. Hmmmmmmmm!!!!! Let's get together for a drink, jbuck! I think we need it, lol!!!

While I was busy posting the note about the new Pasty Cam 2010 Calendar on the main page, this Early Bird brawl broke out. Not sure who to award it to, so we'll just give credit to all of the above.
First Post

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 08:13 am:

Good idea, Charlie; but I must admit, jbuck is probably the most correct (sorry Deb ;-) as I didn't see the bar stool in the 2005 photo right away and then when I posted the "correction", I messed up the year on the toad stool....

Oh well, it's New Moon today and it's Friday; that can't be good!!

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 08:56 am:

At least Charlie had the decency not to post an outhouse :)

Mary says: Alex, Maybe Charlie had the decency not to today, but stay tuned to tomorrow's photos on the main page, to see if I have the decency NOT to. ;->

Where was Paradise Gardens in Calumet located?

By Tom (Tom) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 12:03 pm:

Paradise Gardens was located about halfway between Hancock and Calumet on US41. The place name is Highway Location.

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 01:48 pm:

Okay Mary, but this better be good. The anticipation is killing me!
By the way, I just noticed the ads for bar stools at the bottom of this page...very clever.

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 02:01 pm:

Pardon the additional post, there is a large crowd on the Mackinaw Bridge today. What's the occasion?

Good photos.

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 03:10 pm:

I'm getting the feeling that Capt Paul has 'special' access or capabilities which may result in an unfair advantage.......

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 05:12 pm:

I can assure you, jbuck, that I have no more special access or capabilities beyond that of any other user that posts here; that would be allout dangerous if I did!! :-)

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 08:43 pm:

Ha!!! I see your point Capt Paul..... the possibilities are endless! And now the toad stools have reverted back to 2001. Amazing...

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 10:47 pm:
