I see there are a number of places in da Copper Country where you can rent an ATV, but you've got to hire someone from Pontiac to get an ATV guide service? Ye gods!
Are the local Copper Country folks missing a great opportunity here?
(Although I do see that at least Copper Country Rentals web site includes this one fairly well hidden little sentence: "Tour guide service is available.")
Once again, the locals seem so inept at exploiting the local attractions. Like the many abundant waterfalls in da UP, many without so much as a sign along the road, leaving visitors to "find 'em yourself".
It has always been thus, and I never did understand that. (Although I can understand an inclination to leave 'em in their "natural" state, rather than turning the many UP "attractions" into the likes of Niagara Falls, Yosemite, or Yellowstone. Is that what it is?)

FRNash, at least you used to be able to pick up a sheet from the Ntl Park place in Calumet, that at least gave a text description, on how to get to most of them. That helped out a bunch, for the waterfalls. :-) I am guessing that sheet is still available.

That's if you can walk, which I am not doing much of anymore. Mike's was the only one out of all those that even got back to me.
