We featured an aerial view of M-26, a new section of highway opened a few years ago. What town did it bypass?

It didn't bypass any town, still went thru South Range. It just took some of the corner out of M-26

M-26 still enters South Range from the north on Baltic Ave, continuing straight through town on Baltic Ave, exiting the town of South Range to the south from Baltic Ave, then circling clockwise around the hill south of town to connect to the original route at approximately the Division St. intersection on the north side of Trimountain. No "town" is bypassed; only that portion of the former route through South range along Trimountain Ave west of Baltic Ave.
