2005--I agree, mickill. I love the photo of the loon. A couple of
times I've been fortunate enough to see a mama loon giving her
baby a ride on her back. Also, when you're in a canoe, close to a
loon, the loon sure looks big.

I love the way they sound. It is a beautiful sound on a relaxing evening.

I also love loons. When we're out on the boat, I love to watch them dive. You never know where they're going to come up, they can stay under water so long.

Is that small shack in the area of the pump house? If it's the one I think it is, I knew someone who use to live in it, though I am surprised it is still standing.
