Around da farm, "oatmeal/porridge" was clearly puuro/puuroa, and back on da farm, grandma's was pretty "lumpy".
Funny 'ting, I still prefer "lumpy" oatmeal!
Purro would have to be pronounced like burro , but with an initial "P", while with puuro, you should definitely hear the double "u", and of course with the accent on the first syllable.
