Memories of being a youngster in the summer here in the Keweenaw are evoked with this photo from Roger Kangas today. Everything is green and growing all around and the waters are inviting, whether it's for catching frogs, dipping your toes or what the young man in the photo is doing, just pondering his reflection. The hazy, lazy days of summer at their finest.

It looks like he is looking at his reflection in the water. What a cute picture. With the reflection of the log in the water, it looks like the jaw of a prehistoric monster. ;O)
