Summer is here. :-)
Just a reminder that wildlife, large and small, abound in the UP. A car collided with a bull moose on US 41 in Baraga County last night. The two guys were injured (extent of injuries unknown), and the moose was killed. Moose are huge creatures to be colliding with a vehicle, so they could be very severe accidents.

While moose seem to be confined to the UP, we have some fairly large animals in the LP, too, including elk and bear. In fact, two bears that I know of, have been hit by vehicles in our county here in mid-Michigan in the last few years.
Have a good summer and be safe!
