Good morning! The first and last pictures are wonderful. Well, the ones in between are good too, but it's fun to look at the lake when it looks as if a storm's brewing.

Have a great day everybody!

Excellent photos! It looks like the temperatures are ramping up...and just in time. I will be UP there cruising on the Wing in a couple of weeks.
Oh yeah, baby!

Capt. Paul, where are you? A Quincy Mine question. Just curious. At the bat cage over the Man Engine shaft. Is it possible at the right time of year and the right time of day that the sun ever lines up perfectly with the angle of this shaft? If it did/does, would it light the shaft to the water level? The only pictures I have seen do not show very far.

Today is my moms birthday. She would have been 77 yrs. old. She passed away in 2006. I miss you, mom.

I am leaving the house right now, heading to the UP. Will be in Copper Harbor tomorrow night. We are having a memorial service for my mom at the
Ahmeek cemetery on Sat.

I am going to have fun showing my home town to my youngest daughter who was only a baby the last time she was up there.

TO SHIRLEY WAGGONER (Shirlohio)

'Thank You' again for the thoughtful words. The month of June is bad for me because June 1st, is my youngest brothers birthday and he passed away July 2005 and I had to travel to Duluth, on behalf of my mom, to have him creamated and take him home to my mom in Calumet. I miss and love all of them.;O) June 16th is my other brothers birthday who passed away 1973, and today is my moms birthday. Enough said.

Mickill, You have had a bad week. I'm sorry for you. I hope the hurt gets a little less as more time passes. I'm hoping that for me too.

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 - 07:43 pm:

'Thank You' Deb. It does and will get better.
