Lupines! How beautiful! I remember all the wild ones growing along the side of the highway between White Pine and the lake shore road to the Porkies!

The Lupines are thriving in Ontonagon, or as we Yoopers pronounce it, "Onnonogan". The ditches are alive with UP color. Black flies here have been at a minimal, Gitchee Gumee breezes are keeping them far away. The weather has been like paradise!

The lupines look more like a painting, instead of a photo. It is just breathtaking!
