What was the all-time low snowfall in Keweenaw County, and in which winter did it occur?

Good morning! I knew where the Superior Shores picture was before even reading it. I've seen that view enough times. Gorgeous in the summer!

We're expecting 6-12 inches of snow tonight. And then, it's supposed to get below zero again. I sure hope this stuff ends soon.

I noticed these pics covered a wider area of the U.P. Nice Memory Lane selection.

Good morning from the city of lost wages, better known as Las Vegas, NV.

The Dr. and I are on our mini-vacation and I am currently gazing out of our 10th floor hotel room at The Strip and a beautiful view of the snow capped Spring Mountains to the west. Another view I see are some half-completed high rise buildings that were being built before the housing crash. Now, they stand dorment and empty. We have heard that approximately 55% of all homes in the Vegas valley are either in foreclosure or bank reposessed. I can believe it with all the "for sale" signs we see around.

But enough sad news!! We have a fun day planned ahead as we are going to Death Valley and look at some neat geology. Tomorrow, we head out towards Flagstaff, AZ and look at some old mining areas before visitng the Grand Canyon on Thursday.

Have a great day Pasty-cammers; I'll post somemore later......

Hey Capt, I have one question of the utmost geological importance: Have you seen any bikers? And please be specific...I need details like warm sunshine and shortsleeves and stuff like that :-)
