My 100 year old aunt had a stroke on Thursday and is not doing well. All prayers are welcome. She is so loved!!

Somewhere, sometime I've seen that building Matt. Now I'm wondering too!

That looks like the "Powder room" er… Powder house (used for storing explosives) for the Mohawk #5 mine, located, not surprisingly, on Number 5 road south southwest of Mohawk, MI.

Such powder houses were typically windowless stone structures to protect against stray bullets or projectiles.

Jarmo, we found some of our Finnish relatives using Facebook. The name isn't common so we are trying to find the link to how we are likely related.

Haven't been around for a while, Precious fell and broke her leg. She is now in rehab and Jimmie the fat white cat is in morning looking around the house for her. He sits on her chair all day meowing when I come into the room. Didn't realize how much work the litle woman did till I have been forced to do it all. Kind of lonely here with out her to tell me what to do. She now writes notes and gives them to me when I visit her.

Deb, you and your family are in my thoughts; you've been through a lot recently. I'm sending strength for your aunt to pull through this. And Mikie, hang in there...it's a hard way to find out how much one appreciates their mate, but it's good information to learn while we're still on this side of the daisies.

Sorry to hear about Precious, Mikie. We will be praying for a quick recovery for her (and for you and Jimmie.)
