Recently, Jamie Harter's morning commute to work was interrupted briefly by a roadblock of the animal persuasion. She snapped these cattle photos on the Rice Lake Road, outside of Lake Linden, where that first bovine was looking at her with an expression that says, "What do you think you're doing on my road?" Then in the second shot, those two don't seem to care one way or the other that she's there, except for a sideways glance to make sure of what she's doing. They're obviously "on the loose" and it makes you wonder if the snow we received this winter might have piled up just high enough for them to walk right over their fences. I can't quite put my finger on the breed of these cows, can anybody enlighten us on that?
P.S. Holy Cow, I almost forgot. It's someone's birthday here at Pasty Central today...
Happy Birthday Charlie!
