They say we lost an hour overnight with the shift to Daylight Savings. Somehow I've lost a half day, normally publishing in the AM before this time. Rarely have I had a day with so many distractions.

If we think we have it rough, consider the guys in today's Pasty Cameo who traveled by foot across Lake Superior. We mentioned it on 'Day in History' last month, and today bring the rest of the story.

Thanks to Dick Barclay for directing us to the NOAA website for this up-to-date picture of Superior's ice cover. I don't think the Englishmen would have made it this year.
